Choosing this excursion to Bali, you will visit the most interesting and mysterious places on the east coast of the island, the sights of which will undoubtedly amaze you with their own.
The excursion to the east starts at 08:00 in the morning and lasts the whole day.
First place, we will visit the ancient temple of Goa Lawah (Bat Cave) – one of the main functioning temples of the island. Built in the 11th century. On the territory of the temple there is a cave of bats, the walls and ceiling of which are completely strewn with bats, which return here every day after a night of hunting. According to an ancient legend, the sacred cave goes into the island for about 30 km and comes to the surface near the mother temple of Bali – Besakih.
The next point will be the water palace of Tirta Gangga, which in Sanskrit means **Sacred Water of the Gangga River**. On the territory of the palace there are many fountains, bathing pools with sacred spring water, picturesque ponds with huge golden-red carps and different bridges thrown over the ponds. The spring, on the site of which the palace was erected, gushes directly from under the roots of the sacred Banyan tree. The waters of the spring are used by the Balinese for ceremonies.
Next, we will go to another wonderful palace on the water, Taman Ujung, which is located on the ocean shore in the tiny fishing village of Ujung.Until 1945, the royal family lived here and received high-ranking guests. In this magical place, you can enjoy truly mesmerizing views: on the one hand, the palace is surrounded by high mountains, on the tops of which curly clouds sleep, and on the other, there is a beautiful view of the ocean. On the way back, we will go to White Sand Beach – one of the best beaches in Bali. Here you will have the opportunity to swim and take photos.
