In the morning, our guide will take you to Denpasar Airport for a short flight to the island of Java, where you will be met by an English-speaking guide. There will begin an amazing journey through the very heart of the island of Java – the city of Yogyakarta (translated as **prosperous city**)
The city is located 30 km from the mysterious Merapi volcano. Until 1006, Yogyakarta was the capital of the Javanese-Indian kingdom of Mataram, which was destroyed by the eruption of the Merapi volcano (2900 m above sea level).
Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will visit the monuments of the cultural and historical heritage of Indonesia on the island. Java is the world-famous temple complexes of Borobudur, Prambanan and Mendut.
Next, we will visit the famous Kota Gede area and the Sultan’s Palace in the city of Yogyakarta.
